Investing in anything can be risky and there's as much money lost as made with poor portfolio management. There's no such thing as a risk-free investment - whatever the publicity and hype says. Generally, the more expansive the promises, the greater the risk and the claims of quick and easy returns are the ones that are most likely to be broken but, with good and careful methodology, there are some sound investment opportunities around - Real Estate in Sarasota Florida is one of the best of them.

"Ever wonder where the media gets their ideas for polling?  The answer,
of course, is that they make them up.  Yesterday there were two new
ones, two of the most meaningless and partisan polls ever conducted.
They come to us courtesy of CNN/USA Today and Gallup

Why is it CNN conducts these polls and not Fox News Network?
Is Fox afraid of the horrible truth? Bush has little or no appeal
among most Americans, and that he is taking a freefall in the polls

The first one asked if they would vote for George Bush if he were again
running for the presidency this year.  This is an idiotic question
because Bush has already been elected twice and can't run again.  But
that's not stopping the leftist Bush-bashers at CNN/USA Today and

It's not an idiotic question. It's just that you have no appreciation
for any kind of hypothesis. Not all Bush-bashers are leftists. Why is
CNN  known derisively as Communist News Network by right wing kooks?
I personally think Lou Dobbs does a fine job of exposing the
corruption of the Bush administration and its negligence of the whole
illegal immigration crisis.

Gallup from pushing their agenda.  So they manufacture news by taking a
poll.  By the way, the poll said 55% would vote for a Democrat over 39%
for Bush.  The only reason for taking such a poll is to embarrass the
president and continue to push their biased, liberal reporting on the
American people.

Bush has pretty much taken the credit for embarrassing himself. Iraq,
energy prices, Karl Rove are just a few of his embarrassments.

Poll number two involved the Valerie Plame non-affair.  It said that
only 1 in 10 Americans believe Bush administration officials did
nothing illegal or unethical.  Once again, the CNN/USA Today and Gallup
organizations come together to create a poll that bashes George Bush,
so they can report it as news.  If you were to walk down the street in
any city in America, you probably couldn't find 1 in 10 people who even
knew who Valerie Plame was.  Yet now we have a poll. Riiiight.

Not all polls are created to bash Bush. How else is anyone to guage
the popularity of a leader? Don't you think it's  important to guage
the popularity of a national leader for the purpose of national
continuity? I don't think many Americans enjoy paying $2.50 a gallon
for gas or enjoy paying high bills to heat their homes this winter.
They didn't like his slow response during hurricane Katrina. Americans
are unhappy with the nearly 2000 American soldiers who have lost their
lives in Iraq for a pointless cause. Consumer sentiment is down for
the third straight month in a  row. People are feeling a bit
disinfranchised and less secure in their jobs  than ever before.
They are beginning to feel frustrated with overall lackluster economy.
People look towards a reliable news outlet that will reflect their
sentiments. That's why polls are conducted.

The media and the anti-war left continue to do everything they can to
bash the Bush administration.   All they have to do to justify their
efforts is take a poll."

Not all of those who are anti-war are leftist. You seem to have a
tendcy to include the word "lefitist" or "lefty" in just about every
sentence or paragraph. Just because you repeat this word often enough
throughtout your daily rants, doesn't make the outcome true.

How pitiful. The media (except for Fox News) uses polls to produce what
they call news. (Which really isn't news)

The reason Fox doesn't conduct polls is because they present "facts"
by careful omission. Holger, I think its time for you to get your head
out of your asshole and to quit watching the Faux News Network.
Start watching Lou Dobbs in evening on CNN. Maybe you'll learn
something.
