Our agent finally figured out how to retrieve the data. It surprises me
that
she never did this before (considering she's been "in the business" for
21
years). It turns out only one person viewed our house over a 2 week
period,
so we obviously need to lower the price to get more traffic (says our
agent). Cross your fingers and wish us a quick sale!
I'm curious -- aren't showings for your home scheduled through your
agent's office and don't they keep track of showings? Or are any
agents who have access to the MLS and a keypad able to show your home
without making an appointment? (In our area, an agent calls the
listing broker's office to request an appointment. Often those
requests are approved without securing the seller's approval but the
seller is always notified.)
If that's not the case, it must be tough to know when you've got some
"alone-time" -- like when to take a shower, etc (grin).
BTW, our system isn't perfect -- I sometimes find myself interrupting a
seller's shower because the seller didn't get the notification or was
notified by voicemail/answering machine but didn't pick up the message.
Ooops.
good luck, Dave Markets differ substantially (all Real Estate is
local, eh?) -- but I've noticed a real slowing down in buyer activity
here in the Twin Cities. But homes that are priced aggressively or are
in top condition and staged well for showings still sell pretty
quickly.
